Chapter Leadership & Involvement Scholarship

The Chapter Leadership & Involvement Scholarship, will be awarded to two University of Kansas panhellenic women who are currently serving in a leadership position in their respective chapter. The purpose of this scholarship is to reward members who have made an outstanding impact on their chapter and/or made significant contributions to the University of Kansas Sorority and Fraternity Life Community. The Chapter Leadership & Involvement Scholarship recipients will each receive a $600 scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, a Panhellenic Association member must: Be in good standing with the Panhellenic Association and their individual chapter Must have completed 60 hours of coursework Must have above a cumulative GPA of 3.5 Required letter of recommendation from chapter advisor, chapter president, or fellow executive member who can speak to your achievements while in your position.

Criteria

  • Be in good standing with the Panhellenic association and their individual chapter

  • Must have completed 60 hours of coursework

  • Must have above a cumulative GPA of 3.5

  • Letter of recommendation from advisor, chapter president, or fellow exec member who can speak to your achievements while in your position

  • Attach most recent degree progress report to verify GPA and coursework




New Member Engagement Scholarship

The New Member Engagement Scholarship will be awarded to two University of Kansas panhellenic women who joined the sorority community in the Fall of 2024. This scholarship aims to alleviate the financial challenges that come along with sorority life. Applicants will be evaluated by merit, financial need, and commitment to active participation in the PHA community. The New Member Engagement Scholarship award recipients will each receive a $450 scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, a Panhellenic Association member must: Be in good standing with the Panhellenic association and their individual chapter Joined a Panhellenic chapter during KU Fall Formal Recruitment 2024 or after Must have above a cumulative GPA of 3.2 from highschool

Panhellenic Values Scholarship

The Panhellenic Values Scholarship will be awarded to two University of Kansas panhellenic women who reflect one or more of the 4 pillars: Leadership, Scholarship, Friendship, and Service. Recognizing that outstanding chapter members often contribute in ways beyond formal leadership roles, this scholarship aims to honor those who excel behind the scenes. Whether it’s supporting their sisters, creating new organizations outside of Panhellenic, or excelling academically in a demanding major or career path, this scholarship celebrates the diverse ways Panhellenic women make an impact beyond the Sorority & Fraternity Life Community. The Panhellenic Values Scholarship recipients will be each awarded a $500 scholarship.To be eligible for this scholarship, a Panhellenic Association member must: Be in good standing with the Panhellenic association and their individual chapter Must have completed 60 hours of coursework Must have above a cumulative GPA of 3.5 Required letter of recommendation from chapter advisor, chapter president, or fellow executive member who can speak to your character and personal achievements
